The Prabhava Collective
We aspire to be a collective.
We want to run Prabhava as one, with fluid roles, and without recreating the structures of power we question. Money is the most obvious currency, but it is not the only one. People also bring experiences, skills they can offer in exchange, time and care. And people gain from the collective too: they learn, are supported, and receive what they need from the others in it. We want to use a combination of all these currencies, so that everyone has something to give and something to gain.
Prabhava is a social enterprise. We strive to make it self-sustaining, kept alive and thriving by every kind of currency its people bring, and by what each of us receives in return.
Founding Member and Convenor of the Collective
Began Prabhava with a vision of inclusive mental health. Convenes the collective and keeps its essence together as roles and people change.
Academic Group
Builds practitioners with a social lens: our trainings and workshops, with mentors who guide our trainees.
Community Group
Takes this lens to communities: collaborations with organisations, and Prabhava Parisar.
Technology Group
Keeps our online spaces, website and tools running, so that learning and dialogue stay open to all.
Supporting Guides
People who support Prabhava in an advisory role, bringing their experience and perspective as we grow.
Roles here are fluid. People move between groups, and many belong to more than one.
